Panorama photographs are essentially very, very, very wide angle pictures. It goes up to an angle of 360° (hor.) by 180° (vert.). In such case it really represents the inner surface of a virtual sphere (therefore called spherical). Here you can view my collection of such and other types, e.g. cylindrical panorama photographs. I passionately created those at different places and on a number of other topics. A bit of a mixed bag after all. You’ll see them distorted and squeezed into flat pictures, or you can view them with the QuickTime Plug-In. For those who are interested, I pulled together a little story on "The Making Of". I wish you as much fun viewing them as I have fun in making them. You'll find the site organised in a couple of galleries. Number I is dedicated to travel and shows panos from a number of places I have visited over time while number II more is like the mixed bag I've been talking about. Number III contains the "Home Zone", panos from the area around my home. |

While shooting multiple images for stitched panoramas it quite often happens that people walk the scene and will be captured multiple times. After stitching the final picture you will then find the same person in different places. Does it already qualify for a multiple identity? Find your own answer. In any case - here you find them collected. At least those I spotted. If it happens that I missed some, please let me know. Move the mouse over the blury stuff and see! |
